With blogging, you’re in complete control of your destiny.

  • You’ll get to decide how much time, where and when you work
  • And many more

The best part of it is, you’ll be making extra money while enjoying something you love doing.

In researching this article, I reached out to over 50 stay at home mom bloggers who make a full-time income blogging. To give you an idea, that’s about $3,000-$3,500 a month or more.

A few of them make over $30,000 a month. And, one makes over $55,000 a month. Most make between $2,000 to $5,000 a month blogging, depending on the month. The lower end is because of the “summer slump” that most blogging niches experience as people go on vacation.

What’s great about blogging is that it’s one of the best ways to generate a passive income. You can do this by placing ads on your site once you have a good amount of traffic.

That ensures that you can make money without lifting a finger.

Affiliate marketing is another great job for stay at home moms. Actually, it’s not a job but a process. In fact, you probably already have some experience with it.

Basically, you recommend products or services that certain bloggers or companies have to others. If they happen to buy what you recommend, you earn a commission for it.

Because you need people to recommend those products to, affiliate marketing often works best with a blog. That way, you have a consistent source of visitors who listen to what you have to say.

Another way to do this is via social media. Here, you’ll be able to do affiliate marketing without a blog.

For example, you can create YouTube videos and recommend products somewhere in the video. Similarly, while talking about products on your Facebook or Instagram account, you can likewise suggest certain products or services.

The main difference is the job itself.

Instead of writing, you’ll be going over what other people have written. And, you’ll be fixing punctuations, spelling, and grammar mistakes.

So how much can you make?

The rates are very similar to freelance writing. As such, it depends a lot on who your clients are. The bigger your clients, the higher they’ll be willing to pay. But, to get those large clients, you’ll need experience.
